Can you solemn ryko

How does darklords answer six sams when sams just return monster's back to the hand and protect from destruction? You also just kinda instant loose to most good burn decks and Reactor Dragon decks. Or just Non of the darklord decks I have seen run any protection. So not 1 turn killing the opponent is easily punished. Last edited by Late Night Jukebox ; 1 May, am. I would think so, since warning would have to be used on the flip summon itself. If you allow them to choose a target, that would mean the summon is successful. Solemn warning has to negate the summon which is before any effect can activate.

Thus, if you are asking for a target, you've made the mistake of letting the summon go through and it's too late to warning the ryko. Unless your opponent doesn't know this. WIth magatama, ryko has to activate its destruction effect and target, in which you can then chain magatama to negate it.

If you ask for ryko's target, that means you have massed priority at the "summon success" window, and you cannot go back and negate the summon anymore.

If you wish to play Magatama to Ryko's destruction effect, they have to target something first. It isnt trying to destroy something until they choose a target to destroy.
