We look forward to seeing you in September! Welcome Week festivities will begin with our Move-In Weekend, on Friday, September 10 through Monday, September 13, when students living in the residence halls will start to move in and set up their rooms.

Then, there will then be a full schedule of both virtual and in-person activities over the course of the following week designed to introduce everyone to the campus, fellow classmates, and the city of Philadelphia. You are not required to have your Drexel student ID prior to moving into your residence hall but you will need to have some proof of ID i. Are there any single rooms available in any of the residence halls? If so, what steps can I take to secure a single room? There are no single occupancy rooms. If a student requires a single room accommodation while residing on campus, they are welcome to reach out to our campus partners in Disability Resources at disability drexel.

All single room accommodations received after May 15 will be accommodated on an availability basis. How do I pack my belongings for move in? All belongings will need to be packed in a box and the box will need to be labeled with your name, residence hall, room number, and cell phone number.

All residential students will receive a customized Term Switch via e-mail to their Drexel e-mail account about three weeks before the end of the term which outlines their current housing assignment as well as their housing assignment for the upcoming term.

All students will fall into one of the Term categories, listed below:. The student is moving from one assignment in the current term to another assignment in the upcoming term. It is important for students in this category to follow the timelines and instructions provided in the Term Switch email carefully to ensure their move is coordinated with the residence hall staff and other students who might be moving at the same time.
